Terms of Service — Somewhere
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Somewhere Properties LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Somewhere," "we," "us"). They cover the Somewhere Chrome extension and the somewhere.properties website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, subscribing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
1. What Somewhere does
Somewhere helps you search for and understand property listings on third-party real estate websites. It opens searches on those websites, and when you open a listing it translates it and summarizes the facts it can read from the page. Somewhere does not list, sell or broker property, and it does not run a property marketplace or host listings. You can save listings to Favorites to compare them.
2. Not professional advice
Somewhere is a reading aid. It is not a real estate agent, broker, appraiser, lawyer, notary or tax adviser, and nothing in the Service is professional advice.
- Translations are produced automatically and can contain errors.
- Listing information comes from the third-party website and whoever placed the listing. We do not check that it is accurate, complete or current, and we do not verify ownership, price, condition, legal status or availability.
- Before making any decision about a property, check the original listing and confirm every important fact with qualified professionals, such as a notary (notaio), surveyor (geometra) or lawyer.
3. Third-party websites
The real estate websites Somewhere works with are independent of us. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or changes. Your use of those websites is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for following them. Supported websites and features may change or become unavailable.
4. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Give accurate information, keep your password secure, and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@somewhere.properties if you think someone else has accessed it.
5. Subscription and billing
- Using the Service requires an active subscription. The price is $3.99 per month plus any applicable tax, billed in US dollars. There is no free trial.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- Subscriptions are sold through Link, Stripe's payment service, which acts as the merchant of record. Link processes your payment, collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts. Link's own terms also apply to your purchase.
- If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds.
- If we change the price, the new price applies to new subscriptions. We will tell you before any change affects your subscription.
6. Cancellation and refunds
- You can cancel at any time through your Link account at link.com or by emailing support@somewhere.properties.
- If you cancel without a refund, your subscription will not renew, and you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for.
- Payments are non-refundable, including unused parts of a month, except where the law requires a refund or Link issues one under its own refund policy.
- You can request a refund through Link or by emailing support@somewhere.properties.
- If any payment is refunded, whether by us or by Link, your subscription is cancelled and your access to paid features ends once the refund is processed, even if the paid month has not ended. To use Somewhere again, start a new subscription.
- Nothing in these Terms limits refund rights that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Acceptable use
Use the Service for your own property search. Do not:
- resell, sublicense or share access to the Service;
- use the Service, or any tool, to copy, collect or extract listings in bulk;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile the extension or website, except where the law allows it;
- try to get around the subscription check or other limits;
- interfere with the Service or use it for anything unlawful.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms.
8. Our rights in the Service
The Service, including the extension, the website and their design and content, belongs to Somewhere Properties LLC. While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.
9. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your needs.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including any loss connected with a property purchase or sale. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date, and if a change is significant we will tell you by email or on the website before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Disputes will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
